Collecteurs x Anne Neukamp
In her new series of 9 unique objects for Collecteurs Capsule Editions, titled ‘Trap’, two of Neukamp’s recurrent motifs — the hand and rope — merge into a three-dimensional object in the form of a mannequin hand. The image of the rope was applied via water transfer onto the mannequin hands. The object is dipped into the image, which is floating on the surface of water. During this process the image gets slightly distorted, and the way it wraps around the object changes, creating a unique object every time.
